Description

I had to do a provisional vote today due to having moved. I went to the district where I currently live (in Springfield) and was treated with complete rudeness. I truly couldn't believe the attitudes of the people there. They then told me that I needed to go to the polling location that was in the district from where I had moved (in Springfield, as well) which was incorrect. I ended up just going to the Board of Elections to vote. 1 1/2 hours for what should have been a 5 minute process. More training and customer service is obviously needed. What should have been a good day fulfilling my civic duty and supporting a candidate whom I truly believe in turned into a day that I just want to forget about.
